And so it begins!

We should have started this blog earlier but being a slave to our first home project has taken over our lives. Anyway, welcome all to our online DIY/Renovation diary! This is our first renovation and our first post - were very excited! We bought our condo (I often refer to it as our house - because well, for us it is) in May 2013 and have been hard at work ever since. Our condo/house only had one previous owner and lots of it's original 80's "charm". Even though we knew it would be a complete gut we felt this was the perfect size place for us. Plenty of space, but not too much. The kitchen had great potential and the basement lent itself to an amazing office space. These are some pictures of what we were working with in the beginning, can't wait to see how it turns out!
