First Christmas in The New Crib!

Our housewarming party has been long over due so we figured 'Tis the Season! Why not have a housewarming and holiday party rolled into one? We were pretty excited to share the holidays and our home with friends and family! Now we wanted to share some of our favorite party moments and details that made it great for us!

1) A Hashtag, #duh. I'm a bit of a social media nerd, and after we attended many weddings this season I thought having a hashtag would be the perfect way to to see all the moments others captured that we might have missed!

2) A "photo booth" and props. This was another wedding inspiration, but scaled down. We made a backdrop matching our invitations, out of brown craft paper, decorated it and of course, included our hashtag. Next to the photo area I cut out some card stock props I found on etsy and taped them onto bamboo skewers, voila, instant fun! Biring parties are a major fear of mine and organized activities can be lame. The photo area allowed people to have fun and do what they wanted, while giving us great memories to hang on our gallery wall - double whammy! These are a few of my favorites - hopefully my friends don't mind us sharing!

Us :) Pretty sad it's blurry.

He actually had fun.. I swear.

Our adorable neighbors.

3) Guestbook. Our backdrop doubled as our Guestbook so everyone could leave us a little note! I'm still deciding where to hang it but it's definitely something I want to display in our house!

The 'guest book' pre-party with an old wine crate full of props and pens!

What are some holiday party traditions you guys have?!
